Some of the e-bikes were rear-wheel (hub) drive and the drive kept going for 1.5 seconds after pedalling stopped, increasing the risk of an accident. Mid-drive motors were promised. That aside, the guide was great, and helpful when the chain came off on the hub drive bike. The tour was informative and great fun. By the way, cycle carefully as marble is slippery.”
