The tour started with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. There are 6 functional monasteries at Meteora, 4 male and 2 female. Because it’s winter and the close pretty early, we had the chance to enter two of them and see the others from the outside. The briefing before each one of them was great. Our guide there was wonderful! She was accommodating, patient, and the nicest ever.…”
